The 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come from the plan studio appearing very similar to it is prototype. As opposed to send an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was chosen, hearkening back into the layout cues that made the car such a major hit when it debuted in 1967. But  Wallace Chevrolet Used Cars did an excellent job of evoking the taste of the past with modern creature comforts. But how is it to drive the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are available to create the auto suit your preference, but the majority of people will appear at one of two currently available models: both the RS and SS versions. My very first test drive was with the six cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) version. This V6 is a variant of the General Motors corporate engine that goes in many of their cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this motor produces over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's just made around 20 more horsepower, and that was having a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are somewhat tough on the eyes and also a bit less tender to the touch for a car at that price point. The dark inside contrasts the thin slit of light coming from through the very cool looking, but difficult to see from windows. Some purpose is, sadly, forfeited in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS may be the best deal for many,  the normal independent rear suspension along with mild six cylinder motor contributing to a mild front end with sufficient electricity to generate the RS a great handling car. Autocrossers may like the RS for just this reason. But exactly what the six lacks, besides a power bulge to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants power and sound of the corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed on the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model jobs to remember the times of big block energy. Chevrolet's website says that this 6.2 liter V8 will find a real world 19 mph at the EPA evaluation cycle. But with 422 horsepower on tap, many will not have the ability to restrain themselves sufficient to see their best mileage. In fact, after forcing the SS, it was difficult to return it into the merchant. The SS does everything the RS does, but with more force. The managing is somewhat compromised from the engine, but the suspension does a good job of reigning that in. Should understeer become an issue, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with all the SS) application of the throttle can help that independent rear step out and correct the vehicles' direction.

Having a mimimum of 300 horsepower along with some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is enjoyable.  Pay attention to the option box for this SS motor and you'll feel superhuman in the event the wheel. Although external visibility is somewhat compromised, there will be no error when you come down the road that this is anything but a Camaro. this, it is not surprising that this vehicle has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
