After graduating college I was looking for a new car to replace my worn outside Honda that had little to no life left. |} The cost I was expecting to cover was about $20,000 offering me lots of options to pick from. After test driving many diverse versions, I chose about the Volkswagen Scirocco R. My experience has been largely positive, but the vehicle isn't without flaws.

Acceleration: The car has got the 5cylinder motor with 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, however, the vehicle isn't fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 rate to be sure you're constantly in the optimal gear. If you buy a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy because it has an extra 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car a 7/10 for speed.

Transmission: The transmission is a 6 speed automatic which is unheard of at this price range.  It is extremely smooth. {I would accelerate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and provides just the right amount of feedback. really impressive and the car always feels in control. |} Overall I rate it an 8/10 for handling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides firm, but is controlled and comfortable. I like a firmer ride into the soft buttery feeling you get at a vehicle such as the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Chairs: There's a lot of room front and rear. For passengers and the seats is firm, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for the front seats including spinal modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes making it effortless for everyone to find a great driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is huge, and can be bigger than most. Furthermore, the car gets hooks for you grocery bags in order that they remain in a vertical position. It's touches like these that make this vehicle special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: The car looks classy with its own chrome grille therapy, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my tastes. Some of the exterior views seem a bit too Japanese for my preference, for example, rear which has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior seems more costly the anything in the class. The materials are rich and surfaces texture high quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore involving two frontside, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any major issues with the vehicle, but it only has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission strikes down sharply sometimes and a few of the interior components come loose. Additionally, the passenger has been tacky ever since I purchased it. People must pull on the door handle double to start it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Contemplating its characteristics, quality, and space the Jetta delivers good value for the cost. 8/10
