After graduating college I was looking for a new car to replace my worn out Honda that had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to pay was about $20,000 giving me plenty of selections to choose from. After test driving a number of unique models, I decided to the Volkswagen Scirocco R. My experience was mostly positive, however, the vehicle is not without flaws.

Acceleration: The car has the 5cylinder engine with 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, but the vehicle is not fast by any other means. Luckily the transmission is a 6 speed to make sure you're always in the perfect equipment. If you purchase a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy since it's an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I'd give the car a 7/10 for speed.

Transmission: The transmission is a 6 speed automatic which is unheard of in this price range.  It's very smooth. {I'd accelerate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and provides just the ideal amount of feedback. Handling is pretty striking and the car always feels in control. |} Overall I rate it an 8/10 for handling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I prefer a firmer ride to the soft mushy feeling you get in a vehicle such as the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Seating: There's loads of space front and back. For passengers and the seating is company, but comfortable. There are plenty of adjustments for the front seats including spinal modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes making it effortless for anyone to obtain a great driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is enormous, and can be larger than most. In addition, the automobile has got hooks for you grocery store bags in order that they remain in a vertical position. It's touches like these that make this vehicle special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks classy with its own chrome grille treatment, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my tastes. A number of the outside views seem somewhat too Japanese for my preference, for example, back that has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The inside looks more costly the anything in the course. The substances are surfaces and rich feel good quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore involving two frontside, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I haven't had any major issues with the vehicle, but it simply has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission falls down harshly sometimes and a few of the inside elements come loose. Also, the passenger door has been sticky ever since I bought it. People have to pull the door handle double to start it. Overall I'd rate reliability a 7/10.
