After graduating college I was looking for a new car to replace my worn out Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was expecting to cover was around $20,000 offering me plenty of choices to pick from. After test driving several different versions, I decided about the Volkswagen Polo Bluemotion. My experience has been mostly positive, however the vehicle isn't without faults.

Acceleration: The car has got the 5cylinder motor using 150hp. It transfers the car around adequately enough, but the vehicle isn't fast by any other means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 speed to make sure you are constantly in the best gear. If you buy a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a bit more peppy as it's an extra 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car an 7/10 for speed.

Transmission: The transmission is a 6 speed automatic which is unheard of in this budget.  It's extremely smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and supplies just the right amount of feedback. really impressive and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is controlled and comfortable. I like a milder ride to the soft mushy feeling you get in a vehicle like the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Seating: There is lots of space front and rear. For passengers and the seats is company, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for front seats including spinal modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it easy for anyone to find a good driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is enormous, and is bigger than most. Furthermore, the automobile includes hooks for you grocery bags so they stay in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this vehicle unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks elegant with its own chrome grille treatment, but the vehicle is a bit too tall for my own preferences. A number of the outside views seem a bit too Japanese to my taste, for example, rear that has tail lights like the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior seems more expensive the anything in the class. The materials are surfaces and rich texture good quality. 10/10

Safety: This car has airbags galore involving two front, two side, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I haven't had any major difficulties with the vehicle, but it just has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission strikes down sharply sometimes and some of the interior components have come loose. Also, the passenger has been tacky ever since I bought it. People must pull the door handle twice to open it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Considering its characteristics, quality, and space the Jetta offers good value for the cost. 8/10
