This Volkswagen marketing campaign from China asked people what kind of car they would want built if.
A hover car is a personal vehicle that flies at a constant altitude of up to few meters (some feet). The closest real-world devices are the hovercraft, which elevates itself above a water or level hard surface using a cushion of air retained by a .
This (computer animated) test drive of a Volkswagen concept car sure does make us wonder if it is possible to.

seeking a brand new car to replace my worn outside Honda that had little to no life left. |} The price I was hoping to pay was about $20,000 giving me lots of options to choose from. After test driving several different versions, I chose on the Volkswagen Floating Car Real. My experience was largely positive, however, the vehicle is not without flaws.

Acceleration: The car has the 5cylinder engine using 150hp. It transfers the car around satisfactorily enough, however, the vehicle is not fast by any other means. Luckily the transmission is a 6 rate to ensure you're always in the best equipment. If you purchase a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy since it has an extra 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car a 7/10 for acceleration.

Transmission: The transmission is a 6 speed automatic which is unheard of in this budget.  It is extremely smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and supplies just the perfect amount of feedback. Handling is pretty amazing and the car always feels in control. |} Overall I rate it an 8/10 for handling.|}

Ride: The auto rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I like a milder ride to the soft buttery feeling you get in a vehicle such as the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Seating: There is tons of space front and rear. For passengers and the seating is company, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for the front seats including knee modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes making it effortless for anybody to obtain a good driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The back is enormous, and is bigger than many. Moreover, the car gets hooks for you grocery bags so they remain in a vertical position. It's touches like these that make this vehicle special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks classy with its own chrome grille treatment, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my own preferences. Some of the exterior views look somewhat too Japanese for my taste, including the rear that has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The inside seems more costly the anything in this class. The materials are rich and surfaces feel good quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore involving two front, two side, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any significant difficulties with the vehicle, but it only has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission kicks down sharply sometimes and a few of the inside components come loose. Also, the passenger door has been tacky ever since I bought it. People have to pull the door handle double to start it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Contemplating its characteristics, quality, and space the Jetta delivers great value for the cost. 8/10
