seeking a brand new car to replace my worn out Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to cover was around $20,000 offering me lots of selections to pick from. After test driving several diverse versions, I decided on the Volkswagen Camping Car. My experience has been mostly positive, however, the vehicle is not without faults.

Acceleration: My car has got the 5cylinder motor using 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, but the vehicle is not fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 speed to be sure you're always in the perfect gear. If you purchase a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy since it's an extra 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car a 7/10 for acceleration.

that is unheard of in this budget.  It's extremely smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and supplies just the ideal amount of feedback. really amazing and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is controlled and comfortable. I prefer a firmer ride into the soft buttery feeling you get in a vehicle such as the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Seating: There is loads of room front and back. For passengers and the seating is business, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for front seats including lumbar adjustment. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it effortless for anyone to get a fantastic driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The back is huge, and is bigger than most. In addition, the automobile gets hooks for you grocery bags so they remain in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this vehicle unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: The car looks classy with its own chrome grille treatment, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my preferences. Some of the outside views look somewhat too Japanese to my taste, including the rear which has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior looks more expensive the anything in the class. The materials are surfaces and rich texture good quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore including two frontside, and head airbags also. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any significant problems with the vehicle, but it only has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission kicks down sharply sometimes and some of the interior components have come loose. Additionally, the passenger door has been sticky ever since I bought it. People must pull on the door handle double to start it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Considering its characteristics, quality, and space the Jetta offers good value for the cost. 8/10
