seeking a new car to replace my worn outside Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to cover was about $20,000 giving me plenty of alternatives to choose from. After test driving many unique models, I decided to the Volkswagen Atlas Car And Driver. My experience has been largely positive, however the vehicle isn't without faults.

Acceleration: My car has the 5cylinder engine with 150hp. It transfers the car around satisfactorily enough, but the vehicle isn't fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 speed to make sure you're always in the optimal equipment. If you get a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy as it's an extra 20 horsepower. Overall I'd give the car a 7/10 for acceleration.

that is unheard of at this price range.  It is quite smooth. {I'd accelerate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and supplies just the perfect amount of feedback. really striking and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The car rides firm, but is controlled and comfortable. I prefer a milder ride to the soft mushy feeling you get at a vehicle such as the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Seating: There is lots of room front and rear. For passengers and the seating is business, but comfortable. There are plenty of adjustments for front seats including spinal modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it easy for everyone to obtain a fantastic driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is huge, and is larger than many. Furthermore, the car gets hooks for you grocery store bags in order that they stay in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this vehicle unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: The car looks elegant with its own chrome grille therapy, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my own preferences. A number of the exterior views seem a bit too Japanese for my own taste, including the back which has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The inside looks more expensive the anything in the class. The substances are surfaces and rich feel high quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore involving two frontside, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any significant difficulties with the vehicle, but it simply has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission strikes down sharply sometimes and a few of the inside components have come loose. Additionally, the passenger has been tacky ever since I purchased it. People must pull the door handle twice to open it. Overall I'd rate reliability a 7/10.
