Even the 2010 Camaro is one of the few cars to come out of the design studio appearing very much like it's prototype. As opposed to send an updated fifth production version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative theme was selected, hearkening back to the layout cues which made the automobile such a major hit when it debuted in 1967. However,  Quirk Chevrolet Used Cars did an excellent job of evoking the flavor of the past with modern creature comforts. However, how is it to push the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Different trim levels are offered to make the auto match your preference, but the majority of people will look at one of two currently available models: both the RS and SS variants. My first test drive was using both cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) model. This V6 is really a variant of the General Motors company engine which goes in most of the cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this engine makes over 300 horsepower.  For reference, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's only made about 20 more horsepower, which was using a V8.

In the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are a bit tough on the eyes and also a bit less soft to the touch for a car at the price point. The dark inside contrasts the thin slit of light coming through the very cool looking, but difficult to see out of windows. Some purpose is, regrettably, forfeited in the name of form and selling more cars.

The RS could be the best price for many,  the conventional independent rear suspension and mild six cylinder engine contributing to a mild front end with sufficient electricity to create the RS a great handling car. Autocrossers might like the RS for this reason. But exactly what the six lacks, apart from a power bump to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants sound and power of this corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed on the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model jobs to remember the times of big block energy. Chevrolet's site says that this 6.2 liter V8 will get a true world 19 mph from the EPA test cycle. However, using 422 horsepower on tap, so many will not have the ability to control themselves sufficient to determine their best mileage. In fact, after driving the SS, it was difficult to return it to the merchant. The SS does all the RS does, however, with greater force. The managing is somewhat compromised from the heavier engine, but also the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. If understeer become an issue, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with the SS) program of the throttle can help that separate back step out and correct the vehicles' direction.

Having a mimimum of 300 horsepower and also a few impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is fun.  Check off the option box for that SS engine and you'll feel nostalgic in front of the wheel. Although outward visibility is slightly compromised, there'll be no error when you come down the road that this is anything but a Camaro. this, it's not surprising that this car has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
