Even the 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come from the design studio appearing very similar to it's prototype. Rather than send an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative theme was chosen, hearkening back into the style cues which made the automobile such a major hit when it debuted in 1967. However,  Ottawa Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the taste of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. However, how is it to push the new 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are available to produce the automobile match your taste, but most individuals will look at one of two presently available versions: the RS and SS variations. My very first test drive was with both cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) version. This V6 is really a version of the General Motors corporate engine which goes in many of their cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this engine makes over 300 horsepower.  In this, the last of this fourth generation Camaro's only made around 20 more horsepower, and that was with a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is plentiful, but some substances are a bit tough on the eyes and also a bit less delicate to the touch for a car in that price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin slit of light coming in through the very cool looking, but hard to see from windows. Some function is, regrettably, forfeited in the name of form and selling more cars.

The RS could be the best bargain for many,  the normal independent rear suspension along with light six cylinder engine leading to a light front end with sufficient electricity to produce the RS a great handling car. Autocrossers may prefer the RS for this reason. But exactly what the six lacks, besides a power bulge to V8 territory, is that the kick in the pants sound and power of their corporate LS series engines installed in more expensive models. proceed on the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model jobs to remember the days of big block power. Chevrolet's website says that this 6.2 liter V8 can find a real world 19 mph from the EPA test cycle. However, with 422 horsepower on tap, many will not be able to restrain themselves sufficient to view their best mileage. In actuality, after forcing the SS, it was hard to return it into the dealer. The SS does all the RS does, but with greater force. The handling is somewhat compromised with the engine, but also the suspension does a fantastic job of reigning which in. Should understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with the SS) program of the throttle can help that independent rear step out and correct the vehicles' management.

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower plus some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro has been enjoyable.  Check off the option box for that SS engine and you will feel nostalgic when behind the wheel. Although external visibility is slightly compromised, there'll be no error when you come down the street that this can be really anything but a Camaro. this, it's not surprising that the vehicle has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
