Our long term automobile is a mid-year model Mazda 3 having mid-year additional features such as piano black cut, mp3 compatible CD changer, power driver's seat, lighted vanity mirrors and snowy indicator needles. Additionally, it has a new color for the Mazda3: Metropolitan Gray Mica. Mazda Sports Car added a 2nd new color for the mid year model with a gorgeous white decoration choice but we're MGM individuals.
There are other subtle differences but out of the above mentioned items that the 2008.5 Mazda 3 is pretty much like the 2008 Mazda3.
-Options: Six disc CD Changer, Bose Sound System, Moonroof, Rear Wing Spoiler, Remote Start and Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass.

About the Driver
I am coming out of a 2005 Infiniti G35x loaded with every possible option so while I corrected my expectations to get the reduced price point ($22K using s-plan) that I was not prepared for the method by which the Mazda3 would blow me away.
I push my own cars assertively (sometimes assertively aggressive if there's such a thing) and can put this car through the moves during possession. Driving a car is an adventure each time and that I rely heavily on important driving/comfort aspects like handling, acceleration, ride, cottage noise, long duration driving comfort and in car technology that will shape forthcoming upgrades.
Notice: You might observe a pretty hefty contrast in my first|initial} impressions of the G35 into the Mazda 3 and that's mostly because in part to the simple fact that I nearly purchased the Mazda3 in 2005 but was offered a very good rental deal to a 2005 G35x loaded for almost the same that I would pay to have the Mazda3.
Seemed like a fantastic idea at that time. Biggest regret of my life.
Now that you know mepersonally, let's discuss why you are here: initial impressions!
There are tons of very impressive features in this car! I fought for quite a long time without being current within my 2005 Infiniti along with the Mazda 3 like an reply to my prayers. characteristics
1) Remote Start - that I can't believe how bad cool remote start really is. Producers are now starting to offer remote launch as an accessory that is installed in the interface and I advocate it 200%. It is fantastic for every potential hot/cold day if you don't feel like running out in the weather to start the auto so it may warm up just to run back in the home and finish getting ready.
Remote start is some thing that I could see myself not living without ever and it was not a choice over the Infiniti so +1 to Mazda for offering it. For the 2008.5 mid-year refresh, Mazda has integrated the distant launch into the normal key fobs so today you will not have two types of control keys to use on a single set.
2) Rain Sensing Wipers - In case you have never seen it, you would not believe it. While driving home I did not believe the rain sensing wipers were functioning correctly because the stem seemed to be in the right place and it was raining rather hard. I fiddled with all the stalk for just a tiny bit and discovered that it was in its own"Off" position rather than"Auto". After rotating the ending piece into the right place it functions quite nicely but I do not think putting"Away" and"Automobile" within a knob's twist away was the best idea on earth.
3) The Manual Leveling HIDs - I still|I still} really don't know whether it is manual really. It is kind of automatic and manual. You move the switch up or down till you reach the number you need (0 3) along with also the car corrects the headlights to suit that setting. The leveling headlights are not gimmicky whatsoever and were pretty helpful whilst driving through fog along with raising the headlights to watch for deer/pedestrians around the face of the road. Another amazing feature the G35x was missing.
4) Aux Input - This really is the gold characteristic for me! For the longest time (since 2005) I have always wanted a way to play my iPod in my car. I can't even begin to count the number of excursions and meetings I have been overdue to while searching for a CD to burn so I did not need to pay attention to the same|identical|exact} old crap in my car whilst driving . Actually, I wanted that the aux input so awful that I denied that the Mazda CX-7 when considering my next car purchase only based on its lack of the aux input and it was worth it ten times over. I really like being able to plug in my iPhone to the stereo and simply scroll through the playlists to discover a list I am feeling at the moment. It works smoothly and that I couldn't be more thrilled over this attribute.
5) The Ride - Many individuals will give me a bewildered look but I am telling you that the 2008.5 Mazda3s GT includes a nicer ride than the 2005 Infiniti G35x. Not only does it ride but it is much quieter and it does not make the"Mothership" auto sick after I push her in the car. Thumbs up all over!

So those are the top five favourite things about the car. Overall it is really only an encounter that new car buyers need to try to believe because it is extremely rare at that price point. I am finally excited to drive different locations just to be in the car and I really like all about it! In the event you do not own one, buy one. If you have one, buy a 2008.5 model! brand trim, power driver's seat, gauges and all things in between are worth it.
