long-term vehicle is really a semi automatic model Mazda 3 using mid-year added features like piano black trim, mp3 compatible CD changer, power driver's seat, lighted vanity mirrors and snowy indicator needles.  It also has a new colour for the Mazda3: Metropolitan Gray Mica. Mazda Sports Car For Sale added a 2nd new colour for the mid year version with a gorgeous white decoration option but we're MGM individuals.

There are other subtle differences however outside of the aforementioned items the 2008.5 Mazda 3 is pretty similar to the 2008 Mazda3.

About the Driver

I am coming out of a 2005 Infiniti G35x loaded with every possible option so while I corrected my expectations to get the reduced price ($22K using s-plan) that I wasn't prepared for the method by which the Mazda3 would blow me away.

I push my own cars assertively (sometimes assertively competitive if there's anything ) and will really put this car through the motions during ownership. Driving a car is an adventure each time and that I rely heavily on significant driving/comfort facets like handling, acceleration, ride, cabin noise, long duration driving relaxation and in automobile technology that will shape forthcoming upgrades.

Notice: You might notice a pretty hefty contrast in my initial|initial} impressions of the G35 into the Mazda 3 and that's mostly because in part to the fact that I almost bought the Mazda3 in 2005 but was offered a very good lease deal to a 2005 G35x loaded for nearly the same that I would pay to have the Mazda3.

Seemed like a good idea at that time. Biggest regret of my life.

Now you understand mepersonally, let's discuss why you're here: first impressions!

First Impressions

There are plenty of really impressive features on this car! I struggled for a very long time without being technologically current within my 2005 Infiniti and the Mazda 3  like an answer to my prayers. Here are some of my favorite features

1) Remote Start - I  can not think how wicked cool remote start really is. Producers are now starting to offer remote launch as an attachment that's installed in the interface and I urge it 200%. It is fantastic for each and every  potential hot/cold day if you don't feel like running out in the weather to start the car so that it could warm up only to run back in the house and finish getting ready.

Remote start is something that I really could see myself not alive without ever again and it wasn't a choice on the Infiniti so +1 to Mazda for supplying it. For the 2008.5 mid-year refresh, the Mazda has integrated the distant launch into the normal important fobs so today you will not have two kinds of controller keys to use on one set.

2) Rain Sensing Wipers - In case you've never seen it, you would not think it. While driving home I did not believe the rain sensing wipers were working correctly because the stalk seemed to be in the right position and it was raining pretty hard. I fiddled with all the stalk for a tiny bit and discovered that it was in its own"Off" position instead of"Vehicle". Once rotating the ending bit into the right position it works quite nicely but I really don't think placing"Away" and"Auto" inside a knob's turn away was the best idea in the world.

3) The Manual Leveling HIDs - I still|I still} really don't know if it is manual really. It is kind of manual and automatic. You move the change up or down until you arrive at the amount you want (0 3) and the automobile corrects the headlights to match that particular setting. The leveling headlights aren't gimmicky at all and were pretty helpful while driving through fog and also increasing the sleeves to watch for deer/pedestrians across the side of the road. Another amazing feature the G35x has been missing.

4) Aux Input - This really is the golden attribute for me! I've always desired a way to play my iPod in my car.  I can not even begin to count the amount of trips and meetings I have been late on to while searching for a CD to burn so I did not have to listen to the same|identical|exact} old crap in my car while driving . In fact, I desired the aux input so awful that I denied the Mazda CX-7 when considering my next vehicle purchase only based on its absence of the aux input and it was worth it ten times over. I really like having the ability to plug my iPhone into the stereo and just scroll through the playlists to find a list I am feeling at the moment. It works easily and that I really couldn't be more thrilled over this attribute.

5) The Ride - Most individuals will give me a puzzled look but I am telling you the 2008.5 Mazda3s GT includes a quieter ride than the 2005 Infiniti G35x. Not only does it ride better but it is much simpler and it doesn't make the"Mothership" car sick after I push her in the car. Thumbs up all over!

So these are the top five favourite things about the car. Overall it is really just an experience that new car buyers have to try to think because it is extremely rare at the price point. I am finally excited to drive to different locations just to maintain the car and I love everything about it! In the event you don't own one, then buy one. If you have one, buy a 2008.5 version! brand trim, power driver's seat, gauges and everything in between are worthwhile.
