long-term vehicle is really a mid-year model Mazda 3 using mid-year added features such as piano black cut, mp3 compatible CD changer, power driver's seat, lighted vanity mirrors and white gauge needles.  It also has a brand new color for the Mazda3: Metropolitan Gray Mica. Mazda 6 Car Battery Prices added a second new color for the mid year version with a gorgeous white decoration alternative but we're MGM people.

There are other subtle variations but outside of the aforementioned items the 2008.5 Mazda 3 is still pretty similar to this 2008 Mazda3.

About the Driver

I am coming out of a 2005 Infiniti G35x loaded with every possible alternative so while I corrected my expectations to get the reduced price point ($22K using s-plan) that I was not prepared for the method by which the Mazda3 would blow me away.

I push my cars assertively (sometimes assertively competitive if there is such a thing) and will really put this car through the motions during possession. Driving a car is an experience every time and that I rely heavily on significant driving/comfort facets like acceleration, handling, ride, cabin sound, long duration driving relaxation and in car technology that will all shape forthcoming upgrades.

Notice: You might observe a pretty hefty comparison in my very first|initial} impressions of this G35 to the Mazda 3 and that's mostly due in part to the simple fact that I nearly bought the Mazda3 in 2005 but had been offered an excellent rental deal to a 2005 G35x packed for almost the same that I would pay to own the Mazda3.

Seemed like a good idea at that time.

Now that you understand mepersonally, let's talk about why you're here: first impressions!

First Impressions

There are tons of really impressive features in this car! I fought for a very long time without being current in my 2005 Infiniti along with the Mazda 3  like an answer to my prayers. attributes

1) Remote Start - I really  can't think how awful cool remote start actually is. Manufacturers are now starting to offer remote launch as an attachment that's installed in the port and I advocate it 200%. It's excellent for every  possible hot/cold day whenever you don't feel like running out from the weather to begin the auto so that it could warm up just to run back in the home and finish getting ready.

Remote start is something that I really could see myself not alive without ever and it was not an option about the Infiniti so +1 to Mazda for offering it. For the 2008.5 mid-year refresh, the Mazda has incorporated the distant launch into the regular important fobs so now you will not have two sets of controller keys to use on one set.

2) Rain Sensing Wipers - If you have never seen it, then you would not think it. While driving home I did not believe the rain sensing wipers were functioning correctly because the stem seemed to be in the ideal place and it had been raining quite hard. I fiddled with all the stem to get just a tiny bit and discovered that it had been in its own"Off" position rather than"Auto". Once rotating the end piece into the ideal place it works quite well but I do not think putting"Off" and"Auto" within a knob's turn away was the best idea on the planet.

3) The Manual Leveling HIDs - that I|I still} really don't know whether it is manual actually. It's kind of manual and automatic. You move the switch up or down until you get to the amount you want (0 3) along with also the car corrects the headlights to match that particular setting. The leveling headlights are not gimmicky at all and were pretty helpful whilst driving through fog and also increasing the sleeves to watch for deer/pedestrians across the side of the road. Another brilliant feature the G35x was missing.

4) Aux Input - This is the gold attribute for me! For the longest time (since 2005) I have always wanted a way to play my iPod in my car.  I can't even start to count the amount of trips and meetings I've been late to while searching for a CD to burn I did not need to pay attention to the exact same|identical|exact} old crap from my car whilst driving there. In fact, I wanted the aux input so bad that I denied the Mazda CX-7 when contemplating my next automobile purchase purely based on the lack of the aux input and it had been worth it ten times over. I really like being able to plug in my iPhone into the stereo and just scroll through the entire playlists to find a list I am feeling at this time. It works seamlessly and that I really couldn't be more thrilled over this attribute.

5) The Ride - Many people will offer me a bewildered look but I am telling you the 2008.5 Mazda3s GT has a quieter ride than my 2005 Infiniti G35x. Not only does it ride better but it is much simpler and it does not create the"Mothership" auto sick after I push her in the car. Thumbs up all over!

So those are my top five favourite things about the car. Overall it is actually only an encounter that brand new car buyers need to try to think because it is extremely uncommon at the price point. I am finally excited to drive different places just to maintain the car and I love all about it! In the event you don't own one, buy one. If you have one, buy a 2008.5 version! The new trim, power driver's seat, gauges and all things in between are worthwhile.
