Our long term automobile is really a semi automatic model Mazda 3 having mid-year added features like piano black cut, mp3 compatible CD changer, power driver's seat, lighted vanity mirrors and snowy indicator needles.  Additionally, it has a brand new colour for the Mazda3: Metropolitan Gray Mica. Mazda 2018 Cars added a 2nd new colour for the mid year model with a gorgeous white decoration option but we are MGM people.

There are other subtle variations however outside of the aforementioned items that the 2008.5 Mazda 3 is pretty similar to this 2008 Mazda3.

Alternatives: Six disc CD Changer, Bose Sound System, Moonroof, Rear Wing Spoiler, Remote Start and Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass.

About the Driver

I'm coming from a 2005 Infiniti G35x loaded with every possible alternative so while I corrected my expectations for the lower price ($22K using s-plan) that I wasn't ready for the way in which the Mazda3 would blow me off.

I drive my own cars assertively (sometimes assertively aggressive if there's such a thing) and will really put this vehicle through the motions during possession. Driving a vehicle is an experience every time and that I rely heavily on important driving/comfort aspects like handling, acceleration, ride, cottage sound, long duration driving relaxation and in car technology which will all shape upcoming updates.

Notice: You may observe a pretty heavy contrast in my first|initial} impressions of this G35 to the Mazda 3 and that is mostly due in part to the simple fact that I almost purchased the Mazda3 in 2005 but was offered an excellent lease deal to a 2005 G35x loaded for nearly the same that I would pay to get the Mazda3.

Seemed like a good idea at that time. Biggest regret of my life.

Now you know mepersonally, let's talk about why you're here: first impressions!

First Impressions

There are plenty of very impressive features in this vehicle! I fought for quite a very long time with not being technologically current within my 2005 Infiniti along with the Mazda 3  like an answer to my prayers. attributes

1) Remote Start - I really  can not think how wicked cool remote start actually is. Producers are finally beginning to give remote launch as an attachment that is installed at the port and I recommend it 200%. It is ideal for every  potential hot/cold day if you don't feel like exercising from the weather to start the auto so that it may warm up just to run back into the home and finish getting ready.

Remote start is something that I could see myself not alive without ever and it was not a choice on the Infiniti so +1 to Mazda for offering it. For the 2008.5 mid-year refresh, Mazda has integrated the distant launch into the regular important fobs so now you will not have two kinds of control keys to work with on a single set.

2) Rain Sensing Wipers - In case you've never seen it, you wouldn't think it. While driving home I didn't believe the rain sensing wipers were working properly because the stalk seemed to be in the perfect position and it was raining rather hard. I fiddled with all the stem to get just a little bit and found that it was in its own"Off" position instead of"Automobile". Once rotating the end piece into the perfect position it functions quite nicely but I really don't think placing"Away" and"Automobile" within a knob's twist off was the best idea on the planet.

3) The Manual Leveling HIDs - I|I still} don't know if it is manual actually. It is kind of manual and automatic. You move the change up or down till you arrive at the amount you need (0 - 3) along with also the car adjusts the headlights to suit that particular setting. The leveling headlights aren't gimmicky at all and were pretty helpful whilst driving through fog along with lifting the sleeves to watch for deer/pedestrians on the face of the road. Another amazing feature the G35x has been overlooking.

4) Aux Input - This is the gold attribute for me! For the longest time (since 2005) I have always desired a way to play my iPod in my car.  I can not even begin to count the amount of excursions and meetings I've been overdue to while waiting for a CD to burn I didn't have to pay attention to the identical|identical|exact} old crap from my car whilst driving there. Actually, I desired that the aux input so poor that I denied that the Mazda CX-7 when contemplating my next vehicle purchase only based on the lack of an aux input and it was worth it ten times over. I love having the ability to plug in my iPhone to the stereo and just scroll through the entire playlists to discover a list I'm feeling at this time. It works easily and that I really couldn't be more ecstatic over this feature.

5) The Ride - Many people will give me a puzzled look but I'm telling you that the 2008.5 Mazda3s GT has a quieter ride than my 2005 Infiniti G35x. Not only does this ride better but it is much simpler and it doesn't create the"Mothership" auto sick after I drive her in the vehicle. Thumbs up all around!

So those are my top five favourite things about the vehicle. Overall it is actually just an encounter that brand new car buyers have to attempt to think because it is extremely rare at that price point. I'm finally excited to drive to different locations just to maintain the vehicle and I really like all about it! In the event you do not own one, buy one. If you have one, buy a 2008.5 model! brand trim, power driver's seat, gauges and all things in between are worth it.
