A century-old tradition in bullfighting would be to spare the life span of a bull which reveals outstanding courage in the stadium. Such a Lamborghini Concept Cars bull was Murcielago, The Bat, narrated with a famous matador after a breathtaking fight in the stadium of Cordoba, some 130 years ago.
Similar to the bull that gave it its title, the LAMBORGHINI belongs to some special breed of cars. With its 6,5 liter V12 engine, 640 BHP, an incredible 665 Nm torque and permanent 4-wheel driveway, nothing can stand in it's way. 3,4 seconds is all it needs to get to 100 km/h, and if you keep your foot onto the gas pedal, it won't stop until you get to a mind-blowing 340 km/h.
But this power comes at an affordable cost. The huge 12-cylinder engine demands an average of 21,3 l/100 km, and the automobile's gas tank may carry (only!) 100 liters.
This 2-door, two chairs coupe using a mid-mounted engine follows the standard design successfully applied by Lamborghini for at least three decades. The gear box put in front of the motor, the long-lasting drive, along with the integration into the motor of their rear , are but a few of the benefits of such a displacement which lead to an optimal weight distribution, 58% rear and 42% front, with positive consequences on the vehicle's handling, braking and grip.
The security of the vehicle is ensured by the carbon fiber , with steel doors and roof, and a tubular frame made from stainless steel alloy with carbon fiber structural components. The stopping power is ensured with electricity vacuum, aluminum alloy calipers (8 pistons front calipers and 4-pistons rear calipers), ventilated disks, and optional carbon-ceramic wheels, together with 6 pistons break calipers (front-rear).
The inside aims for performance, and lacks some useless or deflecting elements. The optional equipment includes an"Interior Carbon Package", where the cover to the driver side display, dashboard pay, handbrake lever, armrest framework, gear lever cover, air conditioning and radio covers have been made entirely from carbon fibre, providing those really demanding clients an extra air of course.
Contrary to the older models, the Murcielago provides a little practicality through it's design, allowing for more control over the automobile nonetheless, the rear visibility remains poor.
Its title refers to a bull and a piano, but the Murcielago encompasses their features and beyond; the inside is reasonably comfortable for an exotic car, capable of moving 300+ km/h. Used to its whole potential, this car could provide one of the most exciting senses a driver could possibly encounter.

Its unique design ensures it will remain in vogue for a long time. It is precisely the kind of car which can keep Lamborghini one of the world's best producers, in showrooms, books and, on top of that, from the hearts of the customers.
