The 2010 Camaro is one of the very few cars to come out of the plan studio appearing very similar to it's prototype. As opposed to send an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative theme was chosen, hearkening back into the style cues that made the car such a large hit when it debuted in 1967. But  Jerrys Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the taste of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. But how is it to drive the new 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Different trim levels are available to produce the auto suit your preference, but most people will look at one of two currently available versions: the RS and SS versions. My first test drive was using the six cylinder powered RS (for rally Sport) model. This V6 is a variant of the General Motors corporate engine that goes in most of their cars nowadays. contemporary technologies, this motor produces over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's just made about 20 more horsepower, which was using a V8.

In the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is plentiful, but some materials are somewhat hard on the eyes and a bit less soft to the touch for a car at the price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin foliage of light coming through the very cool looking, but difficult to see out of windows. Some purpose is, sadly, forfeited in the name of form and selling more cars.

The RS may be the very best deal for most,  the normal independent rear suspension along with light six cylinder motor contributing to a light front end with enough power to make the RS a excellent handling car. Autocrossers might prefer the RS for just this reason. But what the six lacks, apart from a power bump to V8 territory, is the kick in the pants sound and power of their corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. Without further ado, we move to the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model endeavors to recall the times of big block power. Chevrolet's website states this 6.2 liter V8 can get a true world 19 mph in the EPA test cycle. But using 422 horsepower on tap, so many won't have the ability to control themselves enough to view their very best mileage. In reality, after driving the SS, it was difficult to return it into the merchant. The SS does everything the RS does, but with greater force. The handling is somewhat compromised with the engine, however also the suspension does a great job of reigning that in. Should understeer become an issue, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with all the SS) application of the throttle can help that separate back step out and fix the vehicles' management.

Conclusion

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower and also some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro has been enjoyable.  Pay attention to the option box for this SS motor and you'll feel nostalgic in front of the wheel. Although outward visibility is a bit compromised, there will not be a mistake when you return the street this can be really anything but a Camaro. this, it's not surprising that the automobile has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
