But, the Volkswagen CC and the Passat have not fared as well, and their reliability is very much below average.. A question about Volkswagen Reliability came in on the Humble Mechanic. I really want to know as im looking to buy a new vw for my first car and I want to .

seeking a new car to replace my worn outside Honda that had little to no life left. |} The cost I was expecting to pay was about $20,000 giving me lots of selections to pick from. After test driving a number of diverse models, I decided about the Is Volkswagen A Reliable Car. My experience has been largely positive, however the car isn't without flaws.

Acceleration: The car has got the 5cylinder motor with 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, but the car isn't fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 rate to be sure you are constantly in the optimal equipment. If you get a brand new Jetta, the car should feel a little more peppy as it's an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car a 7/10 for speed.

that is unheard of in this price range.  It's very smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and supplies just the perfect amount of feedback. really remarkable and the car always feels in control. |} Overall I rate it an 8/10 for handling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I like a milder ride into the soft mushy feeling you get in a car such as the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Seating: There's lots of room front and back. For passengers and the seating is business, but comfortable. There are plenty of adjustments for front seats including knee modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it simple for anybody to find a great driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The back is enormous, and can be bigger than most. Moreover, the car includes hooks for you grocery bags in order that they remain in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this car special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks elegant with its own chrome grille therapy, but the car is a little too tall for my own preferences. Some of the exterior views seem somewhat too Japanese to my taste, including the rear which has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior seems more expensive the anything in this course. The substances are surfaces and rich texture high quality. 10/10

Safety: This car has airbags galore including two front, two side, and head airbags as well. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any major problems with the car, but it just has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission strikes down harshly sometimes and a few of the interior elements come loose. Also, the passenger has been sticky ever since I purchased it. People have to pull the door handle twice to open it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.
