When the first Is Chrysler Going To Stop Making Cars was launched from the mid-80s, it created the Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) because we understand it today, a car with eight or seven chairs that drives just like a car. The mechanicals of the Grand Voyager stay mostly unchanged with a torquey 3.3-litre V6 making it feel well-powered and comfy. Cruising is very effortless from the Chrysler, and there's an impressive lack of road- or engine-noise. It's also exceedingly well-equipped with a roof-mounted DVD player and tons of storage areas.

There's also an abundance of automation around the Grand Voyager.  Both the sliding back doors are power-operated, as is your tailgate, and are the tufted back windows.

The only quirk in this otherwise impressive MPV will be that the entire steering columns, together with the stalks, are taken from a left handed push vehicle. This means the column gearshift is on the driver's right, when in many cases it's operated by the left hand. Apart from that, the Grand Voyager continues to impress, also maintains its title as the supreme MPV, if size and price were no object.
