trying to find a brand new car to replace my worn out Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to cover was about $20,000 giving me lots of selections to pick from. After test driving many distinct versions, I decided to the Is A 2006 Volkswagen Jetta A Good Car. My experience was largely positive, but the car isn't without faults.

Acceleration: My car has got the 5cylinder motor using 150hp. It moves the car around satisfactorily enough, however, the car isn't fast by any other means. Luckily the transmission is a 6 rate to make sure you are always in the optimal gear. If you buy a new Jetta, the car should feel a bit more peppy because it's an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I'd give the car a 7/10 for acceleration.

that is unheard of in this price range.  It's extremely smooth. {I'd rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and provides just the right amount of feedback. Handling is pretty impressive and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I like a milder ride to the soft buttery feeling you get in a car such as the Toyota Camry. Overall 8/10.

Chairs: There is loads of space front and rear. For passengers and the seats is firm, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for the front seats including knee modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it easy for anyone to obtain a great driving position. Overall 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is huge, and is bigger than most. In addition, the automobile includes hooks for you grocery store bags so they stay in an upright position. It's touches like these that make this car unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: The car looks classy with its own chrome grille therapy, but the car is a bit too tall for my tastes. A number of the outside views seem somewhat too Japanese for my own taste, for example, back that has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Overall 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior seems more expensive the anything in this class. The materials are rich and surfaces feel high quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore involving two front, two side, and head airbags as well. 10/10

Reliability: I haven't had any major difficulties with the car, but it simply has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission kicks down harshly sometimes and some of the interior components come loose. Additionally, the passenger has been sticky ever since I purchased it. People must pull on the door handle double to start it. Overall I'd rate reliability a 7/10.
