Even the 2010 Camaro is one of the very few cars to come from the plan studio looking very much like it is prototype. As opposed to deliver an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was chosen, hearkening back into the design cues which made the car such a significant hit when it debuted in 1967. However,  Holiday Chevrolet Used Cars did an excellent job of evoking the flavor of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. However, how can it be to drive the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are offered to create the car suit your taste, but the majority of people will appear at one of two currently available models: both the RS and SS versions. My very first test drive was using the six cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) model. This V6 is really a variant of the General Motors corporate engine which goes in many of the cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this engine makes over 300 horsepower.  In this, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's only made about 20 more horsepower, which was having a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is plentiful, but some substances are somewhat hard on the eyes and also a bit less delicate to the touch for a car at this price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin foliage of light coming through the very cool looking, but hard to see from windows. Some function is, sadly, forfeited in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS could be the best deal for most,  the normal independent rear suspension and light six cylinder engine contributing to a light front end with enough power to create the RS a excellent handling car. Autocrossers might prefer the RS for this reason. But what exactly the six lacks, apart from a power bump to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants sound and power of this corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed to the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport version jobs to remember the days of large block power. Chevrolet's site states that this 6.2 liter V8 will find a real world 19 mph at the EPA test cycle. However, using 422 horsepower on tap, so many will not be able to control themselves enough to see their best mileage. In fact, after forcing the SS, it was hard to return it into the merchant. The SS does everything the RS does, but with greater force. The managing is somewhat compromised with the engine, however, also the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. If understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, especially with the SS) program of the throttle will help that separate back step out and correct the vehicles' management.

Conclusion

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower plus some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is fun.  Pay attention to the option box for that SS engine and you'll feel superhuman when behind the wheel. Although external visibility is a bit compromised, there'll not be a error when you return the road that this can be really anything but a Camaro. Considering all of this, it is not surprising that this vehicle has earned the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
