To get a reading on this, we joined Greg Clough and the Fun Cup team for the fog-shortened 2008 NASA 25-hour race at California's Thunderhill Raceway Park .

California's strict environmental laws seemingly made this an almost. a grand opening featuring the 150 racers of the Thunderhill Track Championship.

trying to find a new car to replace my worn outside Honda that had little to no life left. |} The price I was expecting to cover was about $20,000 giving me lots of alternatives to choose from. After test driving a number of unique versions, I chose on the Fun Cup Car At California’s Thunderhill Raceway Park. My experience has been largely positive, but the car is not without faults.

Acceleration: The car has got the 5cylinder engine with 150hp. It transfers the car around satisfactorily enough, but the car is not fast by any other means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 rate to be sure you are always in the perfect equipment. If you buy a new Jetta, the car should feel a little more peppy as it's an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car a 7/10 for speed.

that is unheard of at this price range.  It's quite smooth. {I would accelerate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and provides just the perfect amount of feedback. really striking and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides firm, but is controlled and comfortable. I like a milder ride into the soft mushy feeling you get at a car such as the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Chairs: There's a lot of room front and rear. For passengers and the seats is business, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for front seats including knee modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it easy for everyone to obtain a good driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The back is enormous, and is larger than many. Additionally, the car gets hooks for you grocery bags in order that they stay in a vertical position. It's touches like these that make this car unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks classy with its chrome grille treatment, but the car is a little too tall for my preferences. Some of the exterior views seem a bit too Japanese for my preference, including the back which has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The inside seems more costly the anything in the class. The materials are surfaces and rich feel high quality. 10/10

Security: This car has airbags galore including two front, two side, and head airbags also. 10/10

Reliability: I haven't had any major problems with the car, but it just has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission strikes down harshly sometimes and a few of the inside elements come loose. Additionally, the passenger door has been tacky ever since I purchased it. People have to pull the door handle double to open it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Considering its features, quality, and space the Jetta offers good value for the cost. 8/10
