Classic Chevrolet Used Cars

The 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come from the plan studio appearing very much like it's prototype. Rather than deliver an upgraded fifth production version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused retro theme was selected, hearkening back to the design cues which made the automobile such a major hit when it debuted in 1967. However,  Classic Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the taste of the past with modern creature comforts. However, how can it be to drive the brand 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are offered to produce the car suit your taste, but most folks will look at one of two presently available versions: the RS and SS versions. My first test drive was using both cylinder powered RS (for rally Sport) version. This V6 is a variant of the General Motors company engine which goes in many of their cars nowadays. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this engine produces over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's just made around 20 more horsepower, which was with a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is plentiful, but some materials are a bit hard on the eyes and also a bit less soft to the touch for a car in the price point. The dark inside contrasts the thin foliage of light coming in through the very cool looking, but difficult to see from windows. Some function is, regrettably, sacrificed in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS might be the very best price for most,  the standard independent rear suspension along with light six cylinder engine leading to a light front end with sufficient power to make the RS a wonderful handling car. Autocrossers may prefer the RS for just this reason. But what exactly the six lacks, apart from a power bulge to V8 land, is the kick in the pants sound and power of this corporate LS series engines installed in much more expensive models. Without further ado, we move to the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport version jobs to remember the times of big block power. Chevrolet's website says this 6.2 liter V8 may get a real world 19 miles per gallon at the EPA test cycle. However, using 422 horsepower on tap, so many won't be able to restrain themselves sufficient to view their very best mileage. In fact, after forcing the SS, it was difficult to return it to the dealer. The SS does all the RS does, however, with greater force. The managing is somewhat compromised from the engine, however the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. If understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with the SS) application of the throttle can help that independent rear step out and fix the vehicles' direction.

Conclusion

Having a mimimum of 300 horsepower along with some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro has been enjoyable.  Check off the option box for that SS engine and you will feel superhuman in the event the wheel. Although external visibility is a bit compromised, there'll not be a mistake when you return the road this is anything but a Camaro. Considering all of this, it's not surprising that this vehicle has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
