Century Chevrolet Used Cars

The 2010 Camaro is one of the very few cars to come out of the design studio appearing very similar to it's prototype. Rather than deliver an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was selected, hearkening back to the design cues which made the automobile such a large hit when it debuted in 1967. But  Century Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the taste of the past with modern creature comforts. But how can it be to push the new 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are available to produce the car suit your taste, but the majority of individuals will appear at one of two currently available models: the RS and SS variants. My very first test drive was with both cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) version. This V6 is really a variant of the General Motors company engine which goes in many of the cars nowadays. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this motor produces over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's only made around 20 more horsepower, and that was with a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are a bit hard on the eyes and a bit less tender to the touch for a car in that price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin slit of light coming from through the very cool looking, but hard to see out of windows. Some function is, sadly, sacrificed in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS might be the very best bargain for many,  the conventional independent rear suspension along with mild six cylinder motor contributing to a mild front end with sufficient power to produce the RS a wonderful handling car. Autocrossers may like the RS for just this reason. But what the six lacks, besides a power bulge to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants sound and power of this corporate LS series engines installed in more expensive models. proceed to the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport version jobs to recall the days of big block energy. Chevrolet's site says that this 6.2 liter V8 will find a real world 19 miles per gallon at the EPA evaluation cycle. But with 422 horsepower on tap, many won't have the ability to restrain themselves sufficient to determine their very best mileage. In fact, after driving the SS, it was hard to return it to the dealer. The SS does all the RS does, but with greater force. The handling is somewhat compromised with the engine, however, also the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. Should understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, especially with the SS) program of the throttle can help that independent rear step out and fix the vehicles' direction.

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower along with a few notable standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is enjoyable.  Pay attention to the option box for that SS motor and you'll feel superhuman in the event the wheel. Although outward visibility is slightly compromised, there will not be a error when you return the road that this can be anything but a Camaro. Considering all of this, it's not surprising that this vehicle has earned the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
