Castle Chevrolet Used Cars

The 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come from the design studio appearing very similar to it is prototype. Instead of send an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was chosen, hearkening back to the style cues which made the car such a huge hit when it debuted in 1967. But  Castle Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the taste of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. But how is it to drive the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are offered to make the auto match your taste, but most individuals will look at one of two currently available models: the RS and SS variations. My very first test drive was using the six cylinder powered RS (for rally Sport) model. This V6 is a version of the General Motors corporate engine which goes in most of their cars nowadays. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this motor makes over 300 horsepower.  In this, the final of the fourth generation Camaro's only made around 20 more horsepower, which was having a V8.

In the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are a bit hard on the eyes and a bit less delicate to the touch for a car in the price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin foliage of light coming through the very cool looking, but difficult to see from windows. Some function is, regrettably, sacrificed in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS could be the best bargain for all,  the standard independent rear suspension along with light six cylinder motor contributing to a light front end with sufficient electricity to produce the RS a excellent handling car. Autocrossers might prefer the RS for this reason. But exactly what the six lacks, besides a power bump to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants power and sound of their corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed to the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model jobs to recall the times of large block energy. Chevrolet's site says this 6.2 liter V8 will find a real world 19 miles per gallon in the EPA evaluation cycle. But using 422 horsepower on tap, so many won't have the ability to restrain themselves sufficient to view their best mileage. In fact, after driving the SS, it was difficult to return it to the dealer. The SS does everything the RS does, however, with more force. The handling is somewhat compromised by the heavier engine, but the suspension does a great job of reigning which in. If understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, especially with all the SS) program of the throttle can help that separate rear step out and fix the vehicles' direction.

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower along with a few impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is fun.  Check off the option box for this SS motor and you'll feel nostalgic in front of the wheel. Although external visibility is somewhat compromised, there'll be no mistake when you return the road this is anything but a Camaro. this, it is not surprising that this automobile has earned the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
