long-term automobile is really a mid-year model Mazda 3 with mid-year additional features such as piano black cut, mp3 compatible CD changer, power driver's seat, lighted vanity mirrors and snowy indicator needles.  It also has a new color for the Mazda3: Metropolitan Gray Mica. Car Cover For Mazda Miata Mx 5 added a second new color for the mid year version with a gorgeous white decoration option but we're MGM people.

There are other subtle differences however out of the above mentioned items the 2008.5 Mazda 3 is pretty much like the 2008 Mazda3.

About the Driver

I am coming out of a 2005 Infiniti G35x loaded with every possible option so while I corrected my expectations for the lower price ($22K using s-plan) that I wasn't prepared for the method by which in which the Mazda3 would blow me off.

I push my own cars assertively (sometimes assertively aggressive if there is anything ) and will really put this vehicle through the moves during possession. Driving a vehicle is an experience each time and that I rely heavily on significant driving/comfort facets like acceleration, handling, ride, cabin sound, long term driving comfort and in car technology that will all shape forthcoming updates.

Note: You might observe a pretty hefty contrast in my very first|initial} impressions of the G35 to the Mazda 3 and that's mostly because in part to the fact that I almost purchased the Mazda3 in 2005 but was offered a very good lease deal to a 2005 G35x packed for nearly the same I would pay to get the Mazda3.

Seemed like a fantastic idea at that moment.

Now that you understand mepersonally, let's discuss why you're here: initial impressions!

First Impressions

There are lots of really impressive features on this vehicle! I fought for quite a very long time without being current in my 2005 Infiniti along with the Mazda 3  similar to an answer to my prayers. Here are some of my favorite features

1) Remote Start - I really  can not think how bad cool remote start really is. Producers are finally starting to offer remote launch as an accessory that's installed at the interface and I recommend it 200%. It's fantastic for each  possible hot/cold day if you don't feel like running out in the weather to start the car so it may warm up only to run back into the house and finish getting ready.

Remote start is something that I really could see myself not living without ever again and it was not an option about the Infiniti so +1 to Mazda for offering it. For the 2008.5 mid-year refresh, the Mazda has integrated the remote launch into the normal key fobs so now you won't have two kinds of controller keys to work with on one set.

2) Rain Sensing Wipers - In case you've never seen it, then you would not think it. While driving home I didn't believe the rain sensing wipers were working correctly because the stalk seemed to be in the right place and it was raining quite hard. I fiddled with the stem to get a little bit and discovered that it was in its own"Off" position rather than"Vehicle". Once rotating the end piece into the right place it works quite well but I do not think placing"Off" and"Auto" within a knob's twist off was the best idea on earth.

3) The Manual Leveling HIDs - I|I still} don't know if it's manual really. It's kind of automatic and manual. You move the change up or down until you reach the number you want (0 - 3) along with also the car adjusts the headlights to match that setting. The leveling headlights are not gimmicky at all and were pretty helpful when driving through fog along with increasing the sleeves to watch for deer/pedestrians across the side of the road. Another amazing feature the G35x was missing.

4) Aux Input - This is the golden attribute for me! For the longest time (since 2005) I have always wanted a way to play my iPod in my car.  I can not even start to count the number of excursions and meetings I've been late to while searching for a CD to burn off so I didn't need to listen to the same|identical|exact} old crap in my car when driving there. In fact, I wanted the aux input so bad that I refused the Mazda CX-7 when considering my next automobile purchase only based on the absence of the aux input and it was worth it ten times over. I really like being able to plug in my iPhone into the stereo and just scroll through the entire playlists to find a list I am feeling right now. It works easily and that I couldn't be more thrilled over this feature.

5) The Ride - Many people are going to offer me a bewildered look but I am telling you the 2008.5 Mazda3s GT has a nicer ride than the 2005 Infiniti G35x. Not only does this ride better but it's much quieter and it doesn't create the"Mothership" car sick when I push her in the vehicle. Thumbs up all around!

So these are the top five favourite things about the vehicle. Overall it's really just an experience that new car buyers need to attempt to think because it's extremely rare at this price point. I am finally excited to drive different places just to be in the vehicle and I love every thing about it! In the event you don't own one, buy one. If you own one, buy a 2008.5 version! newest trim, power driver's seat, gauges and all things in between are worth it.
