The 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come out of the plan studio appearing very much like it's prototype. Instead of send an upgraded fifth production version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was selected, hearkening back into the layout cues which made the car such a large hit when it debuted in 1967. But  Bill Hood Chevrolet Used Cars did a terrific job of evoking the flavor of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. But how can it be to push the brand 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are available to make the automobile suit your preference, but most individuals will look at one of two currently available versions: both the RS and SS versions. My very first test drive was with both cylinder powered RS (for rally Sport) version. This V6 is a variant of the General Motors corporate engine which goes in many of the cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technology, this engine makes over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the last of this fourth generation Camaro's just made around 20 more horsepower, which was having a V8.

In the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are somewhat tough on the eyes and a bit less soft to the touch for a car in this price point. The dark inside contrasts the thin slit of light coming in through the very cool looking, but difficult to see out of windows. Some function is, sadly, sacrificed in the name of form and selling more cars.

The RS could be the very best price for all,  the conventional independent rear suspension and mild six cylinder engine contributing to a mild front end with enough power to earn the RS a wonderful handling car. Autocrossers may like the RS for just this reason. But what exactly the six lacks, besides a power bulge to V8 territory, is the kick in the pants power and sound of this corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed on the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport model jobs to recall the times of big block power. Chevrolet's site states that this 6.2 liter V8 will get a real world 19 mph in the EPA evaluation cycle. But with 422 horsepower on tap, many will not be able to restrain themselves enough to view their very best mileage. In fact, after forcing the SS, it was difficult to return it into the dealer. The SS does all the RS does, however, with greater force. The treatment is somewhat compromised from the heavier engine, however, the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. Should understeer become an issue, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with all the SS) program of the throttle will help that independent back step out and correct the vehicles' management.

Conclusion

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower along with a few impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is fun.  Check off the option box for that SS engine and you will feel nostalgic in front of the wheel. Although external visibility is a bit compromised, there'll not be a mistake when you return the street that this can be really anything but a Camaro. Considering all of this, it's not surprising that the vehicle has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
