Even the 2010 Camaro is one of the very few cars to come out of the plan studio appearing very similar to it's prototype. Rather than send an upgraded fifth generation version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was selected, hearkening back to the design cues that made the automobile such a significant hit when it debuted in 1967. However,  Best Chevrolet Used Cars Veterans did an excellent job of evoking the taste of yesteryear with modern creature comforts. However, how is it to drive the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Different trim levels are available to make the car match your preference, but the majority of folks will appear at one of two presently available versions: the RS and SS versions. My first test drive was with the six cylinder powered RS (for rebound Sport) version. This V6 is a version of the General Motors corporate engine that goes in most of the cars nowadays. With Direct Injection and other modern technology, this motor makes over 300 horsepower.  In this, the final of this fourth generation Camaro's just made around 20 more horsepower, and that was with a V8.

From the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some materials are a bit tough on the eyes and also a bit less soft to the touch for a car in that price point. The dark inside contrasts the thin slit of light coming in through the very cool looking, but difficult to see out of windows. Some function is, regrettably, forfeited in the name of form and selling more cars.

The RS might be the best deal for many,  the normal independent rear suspension and light six cylinder motor contributing to a light front end with sufficient power to make the RS a excellent handling car. Autocrossers might prefer the RS for this reason. But exactly what the six lacks, besides a power bump to V8 land, is that the kick in the pants power and sound of this corporate LS series motors installed in more expensive models. proceed on the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport version endeavors to remember the times of large block power. Chevrolet's site says this 6.2 liter V8 will get a true world 19 miles per gallon from the EPA evaluation cycle. However, with 422 horsepower on tap, so many will not be able to restrain themselves sufficient to view their best mileage. In fact, after forcing the SS, it was difficult to return it to the dealer. The SS does everything the RS does, however, with greater force. The treatment is somewhat compromised with the heavier engine, however, also the suspension does a fantastic job of reigning that in. Should understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, especially with the SS) program of the throttle will help that separate rear step out and correct the vehicles' direction.

Conclusion

With a mimimum of 300 horsepower and some impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro is enjoyable.  Pay attention to the option box for this SS motor and you will feel nostalgic in the event the wheel. Although external visibility is a bit compromised, there'll be no mistake when you come down the street this can be really anything but a Camaro. this, it's not surprising that the vehicle has earned the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
