The evidence is from the driving

For the first time, the particularly strengthened DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) unit has emerged in an RS version.  This is actually the seven-speed S-tronic transmission, which simply refers to two clutches, 7 rates and quick changes. Another addition is Audi's all-wheel drive Quattro system which comes with a new type of middle metering that directs around 85% of the torque to the back axle and 70 percent to the front. During normal driving the RS 5 supply is 40/60 front to back and you'll be able to turn the ESP system off completely. Even the RS6's Dynamic Ride Control adaptive damping system comes as standard and motorists can choose between four driving styles along with a custom one like at the A8.
