Audi's Audi Q3 Toy Car stand at the Geneva Motor Show hadn't been sublime as it was in 2010. This was happening some people wondered, however, a closer look in the distinguished stand had them replied. Inspired by nature and made for humans like the Samsung S III, the trailblazer of coupe technology was ideal in all dimensions. And it didn't stop there, for the car's performance rivaled that of those magnificent R8. It was obvious BMW's M3 had finally found a competitive rival: it was that the Audi RS 5.
The automobile was not only Audi's hottest new version in the show but also boasted of a greater version of the R8's 4.2 litre V8 engine. It now seems this is the trend by German automakers because of it was just a couple of months after BMW had launched the sDrive 35iS, which was only the same as the prior sDrive but using a reworked engine. That however doesn't mean invention has run short in Ingolstadt, for the RS 5 gets a freshly designed front splitter with bigger air intakes and double tailpipes in the back. More to that it comes with 19-inch rims as normal using available choices offering 20-inch rims in addition to carbon-ceramic brakes.
Better than Audi R8?
The V8 in the RS 5 produces 444 horsepower, that can be 30 bhp over the FSI unit in the Audi R8. believed in 8250 rpm with 318 lb.-ft of torque wrapped in at 4000 rpm. The car's acceleration from 0-62 mph is achieved in 4.6 minutes prior to going up into an electronically limited top speed of 155 miles that may reach 174mph if derestricted. The speed is 0.2 seconds better than in the R8 however, the latter extends up to 186 mph. What exactly did you expect? It's a Spyder anyhow.

The proof is in the driving
For the first time, the particularly strengthened DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) unit has emerged in an RS version. This is actually the seven-speed S-tronic transmission, which only refers to 2 clutches, 7 speeds and quick alterations. Another inclusion is Audi's all-wheel drive Quattro system which comes with a new kind of middle metering that directs around 85 percent of the torque to the back axle and 70 per cent to the front. During regular driving the RS 5's distribution is 40/60 front to back and you can turn the ESP system away completely. Even the RS6's Dynamic Ride Control elastic damping system comes as normal and motorists may select between four driving manners along with a custom one like in the A8. The car nonetheless doesn't come cheap in #57480, #5430 over a M3.
