Audi's 2018 Audi A4  stand at the Geneva Motor Show hadn't been as sublime as it was at 2010. This was happening some folks believed, but a closer look in the stand had them replied. Inspired by nature and made for people such as the Samsung S III, the trailblazer of coupe technologies was ideal in all sizes. And it did not stop there, for the automobile's performance rivaled that of those magnificent R8. It was apparent BMW's M3 had finally found a competitive rival: it was that the Audi RS 5.

The show-stopper

The car wasn't just Audi's hottest new version in the show but boasted of a bigger version of this R8's 4.2 litre V8 engine. It now seems this is the fad by German automakers because of it was just a couple of months after BMW had launched the sDrive 35iS, that was only the same as the prior sDrive but using a lookup engine. That however doesn't mean invention has run short in Ingolstadt, for your RS 5 gets a newly designed front splitter with larger air intakes and double tailpipes in the rear. More importantly it comes with 19-inch rims as standard using available options offering 20-inch rims in addition to carbon-ceramic brakes.

Better than Audi R8?

The V8 in the RS 5 produces 444 horsepower, and this will be 30 bhp over the FSI unit at the Audi R8. This is felt in 8250 rpm with 318 lb.-ft of torque in at 4000 rpm. The car's speed in 0-62 mph is achieved in 4.6 minutes prior to going up into a limited top speed of 155 miles that may get to 174mph if derestricted. The speed is 0.2 seconds better than at R8 but the latter goes up to 186 mph. What did you expect? It's a Spyder anyhow.

very first time, the particularly reinforced DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) unit has emerged in an RS version.  This is the seven-speed S-tronic transmission, that only refers to two clutches, 7 rates and quick alterations. Another addition is Audi's all-wheel drive Quattro system that features a new kind of middle metering that directs around 85 percent of the torque to the rear axle and 70 percent to the front. During regular driving the RS 5's supply is 40/60 front to rear and you'll be able to flip the ESP system off completely. The RS6's Dynamic Ride Control adaptive damping system comes as standard and drivers can choose between four driving styles plus a custom one such as at the A8. The car nonetheless doesn't come cheap in #57480, #5430 over a M3.
