2011 Audi A8

Audi's 2011 Audi A8  stance at the Geneva Motor Show had never been as sublime as it was at 2010. Why this was happening some people believed, however, a closer look at the stand had them answered. created for humans such as the Samsung S III, the trailblazer of coupe technology was ideal in all dimensions. And it didn't stop there, for the automobile's performance rivaled that of the glorious R8. It was clear BMW's M3 had eventually found a competitive rival: it was that the Audi RS 5.

The show-stopper

The automobile was not just Audi's newest new version at the show but boasted of a bigger variant of this R8's 4.2 litre V8 engine. It now appears this is the fad by German automakers that it was only a couple of months later BMW had established the sDrive 35iS, which was exactly the same as the previous sDrive but using a search engine. That however does not mean innovation has run in Ingolstadt, for the RS 5 gets a newly designed front splitter with bigger air intakes and twin tailpipes at the rear. More to that it comes with 19-inch rims as standard using available options offering 20-inch rims as well as carbon-ceramic brakes.

Greater than Audi R8?

The V8 in the RS 5 produces 444 horsepower, and this will be 30 bhp over the FSI unit at the Audi R8. This is felt at 8250 rpm with 318 lb.-ft of torque wrapped in at 4000 rpm. The car's speed from 0-62 mph is reached in 4.6 minutes prior to going up to a limited top speed of 155 mph that may get to 174mph in case derestricted. The speed is 0.2 seconds better than at R8 but the latter goes up to 186 mph. What did you expect? It Is a Spyder anyhow.

The proof is at the driving

very first time, the particularly reinforced DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) unit has emerged in an RS version.  This is actually the seven-speed S-tronic transmission, which only refers to 2 clutches, 7 speeds and fast changes. Another inclusion is Audi's all-wheel disk drive Quattro system which features a new sort of middle metering that sends around 85% of the torque to the rear axle and 70 percent to the front. During regular driving the RS 5 distribution is 40/60 front to rear and you're able to flip the ESP system off completely. The RS6's Dynamic Ride Control adaptive damping system comes as standard and motorists can select between four driving modes and a custom one such as at the A8. The car however does not come cheap at #57480, #5430 over the usual M3.
