seeking a new car to replace my worn outside Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to cover was about $20,000 offering me lots of alternatives to pick from. After test driving several different models, I chose on the 2010 Volkswagen Golf R. My experience has been largely positive, but the car isn't without flaws.

Acceleration: My car has the 5cylinder motor with 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, but the car isn't fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 speed to ensure you're always in the perfect gear. If you buy a brand new Jetta, the car should feel a little more peppy as it has an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car an 7/10 for speed.

that is unheard of in this price range.  It's quite smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and provides just the perfect amount of feedback. Handling is pretty impressive and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The automobile rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I like a firmer ride into the soft buttery feeling you get in a car such as the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Chairs: There's plenty of space front and rear. For passengers and the seats is business, but comfortable. There are plenty of adjustments for the front seats including knee modification. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it simple for anybody to find a good driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The back is huge, and is larger than most. In addition, the car has got hooks for you grocery store bags so they remain in a vertical position. It's touches like these that make this car special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks classy with its own chrome grille treatment, but the car is a little too tall for my own tastes. A number of the exterior views seem somewhat too Japanese to my preference, for example, back that has tail lights such as the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The inside looks more expensive the anything in this course. The materials are rich and surfaces texture good quality. 10/10

Safety: This car has airbags galore involving two front, two side, and head airbags as well. 10/10

Reliability: I haven't had any significant issues with the car, but it just has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission kicks down harshly sometimes and some of the inside elements come loose. Additionally, the passenger has been sticky ever since I bought it. People have to pull the door handle twice to open it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Considering its characteristics, quality, and distance the Jetta offers great value for the cost. 8/10
