After graduating college I was looking for a new car to replace my worn out Honda that had little to no life left. |} The price I was hoping to pay was about $20,000 giving me lots of choices to pick from. After test driving a number of different versions, I decided on the 2010 Volkswagen Golf Gti (european Spec). My experience has been mostly positive, however the vehicle isn't without flaws.

Acceleration: The car has got the 5cylinder motor using 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, but the vehicle isn't fast by any means. Fortunately the transmission is a 6 speed to make sure you're constantly in the optimal gear. If you get a brand new Jetta, the vehicle should feel a little more peppy as it's an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I would give the car an 7/10 for speed.

Transmission: The transmission is a 6 speed automatic which is unheard of in this price range.  It is quite smooth. {I would rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The auto steers accurately and supplies just the perfect amount of feedback. Handling is pretty impressive and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The auto rides company, but is comfortable and controlled. I like a milder ride into the soft mushy feeling you get in a vehicle like the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Chairs: There's a lot of room front and rear. For passengers and the seats is company, but comfortable. There are plenty of adjustments for the front seats including lumbar adjustment. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes making it easy for anybody to get a fantastic driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The trunk is huge, and can be bigger than most. Moreover, the car includes hooks for you grocery store bags in order that they stay in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this vehicle special.  10/10

Exterior Styling: Your car looks classy with its own chrome grille treatment, but the vehicle is a little too tall for my preferences. A number of the outside views seem somewhat too Japanese to my preference, for example, back that has tail lights like the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior seems more costly the anything in the course. The substances are surfaces and rich texture good quality. 10/10

Safety: This car has airbags galore including two front, two side, and head airbags too. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any significant issues with the vehicle, but it simply has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission kicks down harshly sometimes and a few of the interior components have come loose. Additionally, the passenger door has been tacky ever since I bought it. People must pull the door handle double to start it. Overall I would rate reliability a 7/10.
