trying to find a new car to replace my worn outside Honda which had little to no life left. |} The cost I was hoping to cover was around $20,000 giving me plenty of options to choose from. After test driving several different models, I chose to the 2008 Volkswagen Eos. My experience was mostly positive, but the car is not without faults.

Acceleration: My car has the 5cylinder engine with 150hp. It transfers the car around sufficiently enough, however, the car is not fast by any other means. Luckily the transmission is a 6 rate to be sure you're constantly in the best gear. If you get a brand new Jetta, the car should feel a little more peppy because it has an additional 20 horsepower. Overall I'd give the car an 7/10 for speed.

that is unheard of at this budget.  It is very smooth. {I'd rate the transmission a 9/10.

Handling/Steering: The car steers accurately and provides just the ideal amount of feedback. Handling is pretty impressive and the car always feels in control. |} tackling.|}

Ride: The car rides firm, but is controlled and comfortable. I prefer a milder ride to the soft buttery feeling you get at a car like the Toyota Camry. Total 8/10.

Chairs: There's a lot of room front and rear. For passengers and the seating is business, but comfortable. There are loads of adjustments for front seats including lumbar adjustment. The steering wheel tilts and telescopes which makes it simple for anybody to find a great driving position. Total 9/10

Trunk: The back is huge, and can be larger than most. Additionally, the automobile includes hooks for you grocery bags in order that they stay in a vertical position. It is touches like these that make this car unique.  10/10

Exterior Styling: The car looks classy with its own chrome grille therapy, but the car is a little too tall for my own preferences. A number of the exterior views seem a bit too Japanese to my taste, for example, back that has tail lights like the Toyota Corolla. Total 7/10

Interior Styling: The interior looks more expensive the anything in this course. The materials are surfaces and rich texture high quality. 10/10

Safety: This car has airbags galore involving two frontside, and head airbags also. 10/10

Reliability: I have not had any significant difficulties with the car, but it simply has 33,000 miles on it. The transmission falls down sharply sometimes and some of the interior components come loose. Also, the passenger has been sticky ever since I purchased it. People must pull the door handle twice to start it. Overall I'd rate reliability a 7/10.

Price/Value: Considering its characteristics, quality, and distance the Jetta offers great value for the price. 8/10
