Even the 2010 Camaro is among the very few cars to come out of the design studio appearing very similar to it is prototype. As opposed to send an updated fifth production version of the Camaro, the sometimes overused decorative motif was chosen, hearkening back to the layout cues which made the car such a significant hit when it debuted in 1967. But  1956 Chevrolet Cars For Sale did an excellent job of evoking the taste of the past with modern creature comforts. But how is it to push the newest 2010 Camaro?

Camaro RS

Various trim levels are available to create the automobile match your taste, but most individuals will appear at one of two presently available models: the RS and SS variants. My first test drive was with both cylinder powered RS (for rally Sport) version. This V6 is really a variant of the General Motors company engine which goes in many of their cars these days. With Direct Injection and other modern technologies, this engine makes over 300 horsepower.  As an example, the last of this fourth generation Camaro's only made around 20 more horsepower, and that was with a V8.

In the Cockpit

Standard equipment on the 2010 Camaro is abundant, but some substances are somewhat hard on the eyes and also a bit less delicate to the touch for a car at this price point. The dark interior contrasts the thin foliage of light coming in through the very cool looking, but difficult to see out of windows. Some function is, regrettably, sacrificed in the name of selling and form more cars.

The RS might be the best deal for most,  the standard independent rear suspension and mild six cylinder engine contributing to a mild front end with enough power to create the RS a great handling car. Autocrossers might prefer the RS for just this reason. But what the six lacks, besides a power bump to V8 territory, is that the kick in the pants sound and power of this corporate LS series engines installed in much more expensive models. Without further ado, we move to the the Camaro"King of the Hill".

Camaro SS

The Super Sport version jobs to recall the days of large block energy. Chevrolet's site says that this 6.2 liter V8 can find a true world 19 miles per gallon in the EPA evaluation cycle. But with 422 horsepower on tap, so many won't be able to restrain themselves enough to view their best mileage. In reality, after driving the SS, it was difficult to return it to the merchant. The SS does everything the RS does, however, with greater force. The managing is somewhat compromised from the engine, however also the suspension does a good job of reigning which in. Should understeer become an problem, judicious (not unbridled, particularly with all the SS) application of the throttle can help that independent rear step outside and fix the vehicles' direction.

Conclusion

Having a mimimum of 300 horsepower and also a few impressive standard equipment, the 2010 Camaro has been fun.  Check off the option box for this SS engine and you'll feel nostalgic in front of the wheel. Although external visibility is slightly compromised, there will not be a error when you come down the road that this is anything but a Camaro. this, it is not surprising that this vehicle has got the status of a Consumer's Digest Best Buy.
